Wow! 9 yr old loses 66lbs

Mom takes matters in her own hands with her child's weight lose.  Childhood obesity is very much on the rise and adults unhealthy eating habits are trinkling down on our kids. 
I always get looked at funny when I say I do not let my kids have very little chips, candy, and only give soda on special occasions.  As a parent you want your kids to experience the fun things in life, but when it comes to healthy eating it can take kids further in life.  You can't raise your kids all your life, with kids who are overweight 5-17 year old 70% of youth had at least one risk factor for cardiovascular disease ( www.CDC.gov). So give them healthy foods and make it fun and exciting, not nasty and boring, eating healthy can be delicous and fun.  You will be surprised at the tasty foods that are healthy and you dont eat them, you rather go get a hamburger from Burger King cause its quick, but Lord only knows whats in that beef.  This is preventable disease, which means we can make choices on if we want to eat healthy or not. It can be a hard road for someone, but WE can do it! It can start with adults first; cutting out high fat grams and less sugar as possible is a way to start. Exercise with your family; with the 9 year old girl from California she walked 4 miles every other day and runs/walks 1hr 30min on a treadmill. If your kids are experiencing this be encouraging cause it ain't easy; they look for you for guidance so let's be the example.  So I want to give a shout to this girl Breanna who has overcome a challange, YOU GO GIRL!
