500 murders this year in Chicago, IL 2012

When I tweeted this on Friday 29th 2012 that there has been 500 murders in the year of 2012 in Chi town no one cared to respond to such a crazy tweet. 
It bothers me and it should bother you too.  If you can't stand up for something you believe in and give encouraging words to these kids that resolve issue with guns. Then.... why are u living?

 These murders don't reach national news because they are in the hood and mostly Black and Hispanic, but these victims have a voice.  You should care so, you can help get the word out.  Let's Demand RESPECT and help get this under control.  There's no excuse why we can't come together to give kids good alternative instead of killing each other.

  I hope you will help me join the fight! Help me help the children that want to live, help me save the kids so their parents can see them graduate high school.  

You can still care about your J's, hair weave, clothes, money and I wonder if his status is about me on twitter looking ass; if that what you choose to care about. Just remember its people in Chicago United States of America that are fighting to stay alive.  When the war started in Iraq 2003, 582 US soldiers died. Chi town death toll 601 in 2003.

  This doesn't only happen in Chicago its right in your back yard.  Please help them try to survive the war in the streets. Things to do while snowed in Winter 2012

 Made homemade sugar cookies for Santa Clause

 My daughter got a ice cream maker for Christmas, it just took simple ingredients we had at the house to make ice cream.  I know what your thinking, ice cream in the winter? but it taste so good.

My son's birthday was on  the 26th of December while snowed in, we made a white chocolate cake with cotton candy icing and chocolate cupcakes with mocha marshmallow icing.  We were still snowed in at this point.

Snowed came to Arkansas a little early this year in the winter of 2012.
What me and my family did was make a whole bunch of sweets... (yummy!)
We made a snowman, made hot chocolate, homemade sugar cookies, homemade ice cream, and a homemade cake and cupcakes.  This time of year was fun with the fam, I hope yours was too.

OH! I almost forgot that we cant have a snowed in night without chili... OMG! it was so good nice and warm.

True love... is what we all long for, we want that special someone to call our own.  Some people fall in love at a young age others at older ages, Its never to late for love
Today I see nobody is willing to put their all in someone and what I mean by that is unconditional love.  Unconditional love is what it is... you dont need anything to help you fall in love with that person, you will just simply do anything for that person.  I'm not talking about running drop offs with your boyfriend putting your life in danger or letting someone take advantage of your gullibleness that's not love.  I'm talking about sheer RESPECT.  If your boyfriend is telling you to get off twitter but he still on there. Is something wrong with that?  The moment you realize no one is perfect for you... and that someone is the icing on the cake.  I definitely had to learn the hard way.  I almost lost the love of my life through foolish ways, but it was a learning adventure.  Love is a strong word and most of you aren't ready for it... I can tell by your tweets and instagram post. Your wanting to be single not in love its nothing wrong with that. If a guy/girl has the up most respect for you then you might have true love, everything well fall into place.  It may take them time, you definitely have to work on a relationship.  I'm fascinated with people in love especially older people.  I never thought I could be with someone for a long time.  Its happen... and I wouldn't change it for the world. 

Katt Williams don't call it a come back! Cause I don't know what it is.

I'm hoping and I hope you are too for a Kat Williams come back.  His crazy melt down in the media has been hard for me to watch.  I do laugh at him no lie because I don't know whether his for real or not.  From the fall out with Big Worm to the slapping of a Target employee... this fool is crazy.  He's been getting in to with hecklers in the audience and he's up to 3 law suits for his crazy outburst. I first started to notice when he started sweating in his eyes from the pictures and videos.  This started in November and December has been full of surprises.  He retired on the local Seattle news station were they interviewed him and announced 36hrs later he recanted and came back to comedy.  To top it off he's hanging out with Suge Knight and that calls for an intervention. 
  We want an official come back from Kat Williams! We want you to get better, all this randomness is confusing your fans because you're already random as it is.  Rehab, take your h
eds and stop doing drugs.  Your comeback is coming soon! We love you ol Money Mike! So get it together.

Happy Friday y'all I know its been a long week for some of us... so unwind and listen to this jam.  Its OFFICIALLY the weekend!!!!!

Improv Everywhere is a special sort of group, they cause scene in a social impact type of way.  The scenes they cause are funny, quirky, and entertaining.  This group brings people together to make a statement in a safe environment in any open ground of a public place.  Me and my boyfriend stumbled upon this on youtube and looked at the Black Friday 99cent store crowd, we seen other videos years back but I like this one the most.  Black Friday at a 99cent store; how great is that!  It was good to see that smile on the owners face, Improv Everywhere put that together and attracted other people along the way to come in the store.  The owner has never had a crowd like that before.  

 Started by Charlie Todd he has created over 100 missions, the reaction on these retail store places are funny and  puts them on BLAST for the way they treat people who are not causing any harmful ways to other people.  The retail stores are just plain ol ass holes to them.  But you got to see for yourself these videos are really funny.  I hope to be apart of this one day, congratulations Charlie on your social change its great! Keep up the good work.

New prank show from Brazil... some SCARY ish... When will America pick this up?... Hilarious! Bunches of laughs

I think if this prank was pulled on me I would start beating someone up.  This would scare the ish out of me no lie, but I wouldn't go down without a fight.

Imagine... your on a elevator, singing a little tune in your head.  The lights start flickering on/off...on/off...on/off.  You don't think nothing of it, it may just be an electrical thing; things like that happen all the time.  Next, the lights shut completely off for half a second and when the lights come back on... you see a small child just sitting there.  What do you do? Do you scream? Do you beat her up? Then she starts screaming; I will already tell you what I would do, I'm going to scream with her and we going to be screaming together until the elevator door open.  

Its not going to be to long before a network in America to pick this show up, for America can't come up with their own ideas we have to take them from other people and put some Amercian salt on it. When it does make it to America's TV I hope it stays the same because this ish is scary and great .

Wow! 9 yr old loses 66lbs

Mom takes matters in her own hands with her child's weight lose.  Childhood obesity is very much on the rise and adults unhealthy eating habits are trinkling down on our kids. 
I always get looked at funny when I say I do not let my kids have very little chips, candy, and only give soda on special occasions.  As a parent you want your kids to experience the fun things in life, but when it comes to healthy eating it can take kids further in life.  You can't raise your kids all your life, with kids who are overweight 5-17 year old 70% of youth had at least one risk factor for cardiovascular disease ( www.CDC.gov). So give them healthy foods and make it fun and exciting, not nasty and boring, eating healthy can be delicous and fun.  You will be surprised at the tasty foods that are healthy and you dont eat them, you rather go get a hamburger from Burger King cause its quick, but Lord only knows whats in that beef.  This is preventable disease, which means we can make choices on if we want to eat healthy or not. It can be a hard road for someone, but WE can do it! It can start with adults first; cutting out high fat grams and less sugar as possible is a way to start. Exercise with your family; with the 9 year old girl from California she walked 4 miles every other day and runs/walks 1hr 30min on a treadmill. If your kids are experiencing this be encouraging cause it ain't easy; they look for you for guidance so let's be the example.  So I want to give a shout to this girl Breanna who has overcome a challange, YOU GO GIRL!

Aaaahh! Still havent made a Christmas dinner menu!

The time is coming soon when you have to have another dinner, whether your throwing a Christmas dinner or a Christmas party. 
Here some ideas to show off to your guest and make people envy you.

  These are great items you can add on too. Try corn, sweet potato fries,  and salad to go with meal.
Your meal doesn't have to be complicated make it flavorful yet simple. 
The drank! Since its the holiday this is the perfect drink.  Moscato a scoop of ice cream, a shot of vodka. (drizzle a little grenadine for pretty decor. ) Serve in a medium to large goblet glass. 
Let's not forget about desserts! Cupcakes and ice cream sandwiches to make it sweet and succulent.

World AIDS Day December 1st 2012

Hey guys, I just want to share an issue with you that often gets swept under the rug, HIV/AIDS.  Most people, even you, may think whoever get HIV/AIDS has done so on their own and that they knew their actions at the time would cause this disease; That is often not the case. This disease does not care what color you are, your economic status, nor age.  Most people who get infected are the kids under 15. We have a way to beat HIV/AIDS by the way of INFORMING. People are still dying, suffering, and in pain. There is not a cure for AIDS yet, but medications are a lot cheaper in this day in age.  Although life expectancy is a lot longer, getting people to be aware is the problem. This is not a livable disease. Without the proper medication you will experience serious complications.  Encouraging your friends to get tested is a great start.  It can happen to you so be honest with your partner and yourself.

Damage Control

     I'm writing this blog just to send some encouraging words to some of my friends.  You cannot accept anything less than what you aren't willing to do for yourself. If you are wanting to be happy, positive, intriguing then you have to be around someone who will give you just that.  If you are willing to be second place to someone, then more power to you.
     On the other hand, if you have people in your life that are not a positive influence and they cause more damage than replenishing your mind with positivity then sometimes you have to keep them at bay.
You can't let anyone control your mind and heart, when deep feelings are involved they can blind you. They can blind you into thinking well this is okay, he/she didn't do anything that bad to make me feel less.  What will you accept and not accept? When is it not accessible to take up for yourself.  No one can hear you unless you speak loud and clear.
      If you trying to live your life remember, you always have people that are looking up to you and when they come with those questions for advice; what advice will you have prepared to tell them.  No one is perfect, but when is it going to be your time; when is it going to be your time to shine? If you are about his/her well being besides yours, it's time to turn that around.
It doesn't matter what type of relationship your in friendship, marriage, long term relationship, or your a mistress of some sort. You have to demand respect from someone if you want it.  And never let someone trick your mind into thinking your less than, they can say something to you but you can't say anything to them.  Your feelings do matter, you haven't done anything wrong accept for love, so don't let the other person control something that they can't have ***your mind.  If someone has to drag you down with them and making you feel bad, or treating you badly because your not tending to their needs. All these games on putting the blame on you can be over can end if you want it to be I can understant it can be hard, but when you start noticing that your more forgiving of a situation between you all then we might have a problem.  You never want to feel like your seconds, if you mean a lot to that person, then your needs will be met automatically...no waiting no asking.
      You are a wonderful person inside and out, you have to start believing in that to be able to move forward. Don't let anyone come in at the weakest point in your life, let someone come in at the strongest point in your life so you won't take any bullshit! Enough is Enough!

Power of Faith

What were we put on this earth to do? What was your purpose in life? Every second of every moment we were meant to be in, no matter what you believe in.  Some people use there gifts for good others for bad, some people achieve and some fail.  Teaching is the craft that are creator gave us the gift to have.  Life throws us shit... And at the time you don't understand why this is going on, once you realise it's not for us to understand your faith in yourself grows a little bit better.  If you love what you do, stick with it, it will not go unseen. A friend once told me, it will always gets worse before it gets better, at the time I was like... gee... what a ass hole thing to say, but he was right. You want feel sorry for yourself and consume yourself with thinking how are you gonna get out of this mess, but you can't stay there too long, you will start missing opportunities.     What I'm trying to say is... Fight! for something or stand up for something you believe in.  And the most importance of all is help, lend a helping hand, you may not have nothing, God always provide something that you can bless other people with.  Just don't sit and go to work everyday, how boring is that? if you are searching for fulfilment you have to do something about. Kindergarten

Getting your kids ready for kindergarten is like getting your kids ready for college. If the kiddos didn't go to an official per-school like mine did it can be even harder. You want your children to be able to have fun and be a kid, but you also know the worries of schools and all the information the brain receives it can b overwhelming if they are not prepared. Nobody wants a mono-tone teacher where you have bombarded information handed to them, we all know kids have a short-tension span and they half-way listen to us parents anyway. So about 30 minutes a day spurts here and there and they won't even know they are learning. Here are some helpful tips so that you can do for your kids to make learning fun! All doctors say no more than an hour of tv a day. I mean really? If you have your kids in daycare then I'm sure they teach them (well they are supposed to) if you keep your kids at home it can be a little challenging. If you let your kids watch tv, you can asked thm what they learned after watching the tv; we all know there are lots of educational tv shows so choose one. This will check out there comhprehension skills and listening skills, this means parents you will have to actually watch it too. Please remember do not let the tv be the teacher! In learning activities do things they actually like doing, for instense if your daughter likes princess don't try to learn with dora the explorer. When you are learning numbers, along with seeing the numbers you can have objects they can actually touch and feel. Make up your own songs, if your teaching something new like tieing their shoes, make it special and unique to where they can understand. I assume all kids love music, even using there favorite tune and making up the words will work great! Don't underestimate a child's memory they are sponges and will absorb everything. Dr. Seuss iss just a must recommend if you are trying to teach your children how to read, leap frog is awesome too and any book you get, see if they have a cd to go with the book, it will be a great guide. They can hear the words as they read(they'll need your assistance with this part) One more thing if your a serious about spending extra time in helping your kids learn then positive reinforces are key! We need to let them know they are doing the right thing and that they are doing it correctly. They are just kids so candy, a trip to the park can jus be some of the things you reward them with. Albert Einstein ounce said, "Imagination is more important than knowledge" (www.quotationspage.com) our brains are able to imagine all type of courages things. Chasing our children's dreams with our children can set them up for success, but neglecting or pressuring the dreams can leave them lost for when they get older.

                 One thing that you can do is be “real” with your kids, don't sugar coat the outcomes of failure.  As adults sometimes we forget how we got to the place we are in life and don't want to tell those struggling stories to our kids; we don't want them to struggle like we did (if some of us ever did). 

                Therefore we must nurture all of their crafts and interest; parents must tap into their child’s talents of all kinds.  We are coming to a time where you can be anything with a good support system and having a long life of passion.

  We need to get our children involved in the community, find out what they like whether it's: sports, dance, computers, or music.  This will open up other doors in life and present opportunities. Just because they like dance does not mean they want to have dancing as a profession, this only opens doors and boost confidence. As parents we don't know everything, but your only need is to encourage them and guide through tough times.

  Low income families and single parent homes may have a hard time with doing what is just stated above; having no extracurricular activities, that is not catered to that economic step in society.  Let's face it, some people take care of their kids and some people don't.  There is community information in the local news paper and local colleges in your town.  Taking that extra step in finding tutors and/or trainers to help our children move to the next step;  it gets rough, parents have to make decisions that leave them crying at night on how they will be able to make next month rent or how they will prepare the next meal.  Parents that sacrifice themselves of a meal so they can have enough for their children; that part right there is hard enough already, and so attention on the children begin to drift away because your focused on providing for your family. 

                On the other hand you do have some parents that can afford extracurricular activities, but choose not to.   If you go out to clubs (for my younger parents), buy the latest shoes, have a 500.00 purse or have titanium golf clubs then you can afford for your children to take on anything that would help their growth. 

                 Seeing this go on in the community is tough, we have got to be able to take care of our neighbors.  If we see children struggling eats help them, they are our tomorrow.  They are going to be our next generation of doctors and teachers, so as adults we should be inspired to make that happen.  A report in Washington DC, reports that 1.2 million students drop out each year; what is happening? Why are teachers and parents comfortable with this?  “Wake Up”! Spike Lee would say, we cannot be okay with this problem continued to exist. The national average is on 71%, which is good, but we need to be great.  There are too many children that put that decision on themselves. If these children do dropout, then we need to guide them on getting a GED automatically, there is no difference as long as we get them educated. 

                 Parents, teachers, preachers, community leaders let’s take action going with our children. They want to learn.  Children want to learn what they want to learn, so let's give them the dreams to do so. The bottom line is there is a undeniable bond between parent and child whether they are blood or not.  Children are so special to the world and it's time we start treating them that way. 

                You can do this as parents; you have the will to raise a child.  You have the power.  Our children look up to us no matter how we are, what we look like, unconditional love is what they have and we can't kill it so let our children dream big!
